Kindly ask all clients to read the rental terms before taking over the car and get acquainted with the rights and obligations they must respect in order to further avoid legal lawsuits and the consequences of non-compliance. The following are the rules of use as well as the conditions for renting a car in our agency.
GENERAL TERMS
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum 3 years of driving license and obligatory for inspection
- Mandatory identification - ID card or passport for inspection
- No deposit, without limit of kilometers!
LENGTH OF CAR RENTAL
- Minimum rental length is 1 day (24 hours)
- The pick-up and drop-off times of the car should be the same, with a tolerance of 60 minutes delay. At the end of this overage period, a new day of car rental will be charged.
- Possibility of car renting for several months by agreement.
- The possibility of extending the car rental with a mandatory visit to our premises to extend the contract due to liability.
PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT
Car rental is paid when taking over the car from the rent-a-car, by payment to the account (legal entities) or in cash WITHOUT DEPOSIT!
PICKNG UP AND RETURNING THE CAR
- The car can be picked up and returned in our branch office, and it is also possible to deliver or return the car outside the branch office by agreement.
- The car can be picked up and returned outside standard working hours, at an additional cost.
- When picking up and returning the car, it is mandatory to sign a form on the condition of the car.
CAR INSURANCE
This insurance DOES NOT COVER damage caused to to the interior of the car, damage to tires and wheels, broken and / or lost key, damage caused by refueling the wrong type of fuel and damage caused knowingly or negligently. All listed damages will be charged in full when the car is returned. If you need additional insurance, contact us!
POLICE RECORD IS OBLIGATORY FOR ALL TYPES OF INSURANCE! Without a police record, the full amount of damage and / or theft will be charged to the client, regardless of the type of insurance purchased. A record must be made even in cases where the client was not present when the car was damaged (eg the car was damaged in the parking lot by an unidentified person).
PROCEDURES in case of accident, damage and theft of the car.
The client is obliged to act as follows:
- IMMEDIATELY to inform the police and Gold Bar Rent a Car about the event and to follow their instructions.
- To write down information about other participants in the accident or event.
- To complete the accident / damage report when returning the car.
- To write a short statement describing the causes and circumstances in which the accident / damage occurred.
PROHIBITIONS AND UNAUTHORIZED DRIVING
- It is forbidden to drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs or narcotics. In these cases, the insurance is NOT VALID - the client is charged the full amount of damage / theft.
- The rented car can be driven only by a person registered as a driver in the car rental agreement. Up to two additional drivers are allowed, with the approval of Gold Bar Car Rental, when picking up the car.
- It is forbidden to give the rented car for use to unauthorized persons, persons who are not registered in the car rental agreement. In these cases, insurance NOT VALID - the client is charged the full amount of damage / theft.
